Imbalance may be a good thing
As soon as I first laid my eyes on this pretty Self-Portrait dress, I knew: My virtual shopping cart was going to fill up quickly with perfectly imbalanced items. Blouses that are missing a sleeve, ruffles and frills, casually placed on one side only, and randomly attached patches and pearls – items like these will be my go-tos this summer.
This look is not very typically Dolce Petite: I rarely ever wear denim, and my nude pumps have been sitting in my closet for over a year now. However, during these days when it’s not quite summery yet to combine the pretty asymmetric Chicwish top with shorts and gladiator sandals, I will gladly resort to these basics. To finish off the look, my satiny-red lipstick from Estée Lauder (Bar Red from the Pure Color Love range by Estée Lauder) acts as a cherry on top.
