While most fashionistas spend their time lusting over the latest it-bag, I definitely have more of a shoe problem. Maybe it’s a form of overcompensation for the time I found it really hard to find shoes in my baby feet size. Now that I know where to shop for these things, can somebody please stop me?

People often think I’m much younger than I actually am. Just recently I had to show my ID at a club to prove that I’m not a minor anymore, which is pretty ridiculous considering I’m in my late twenties. This is what my cosmetologist said: “Take care of your skin, because it’s the only thing that will reveal your age.” In my early twenties however I had very oily skin, like most women that had just spent their past years battling acne. I automatically went for mattifying and oil-free products, without ever questioning my choice, because that was just my skin type, right?

Then one day my cosmetologist looked at my skin, mumbling words like “dehydrated” and “fines lines caused by dryness”.
This really opened my eyes.
