Ah, the Vienna State Opera! How many unforgettable moments have I witnessed here – but I’ve never been aware of the beauty of the building itself as much as I am now. Especially as a shooting location! It’s kind of funny how the space overlooking the opera house has become an incredibly popular streetstyle shooting location over the past months – anytime I’m there, a aturw more people are bustling around the balustrades with their cameras in hand. But let’s cut to the chase: This month’s Blog Your Style motto is a rather girly one:
Ruffles & Bows
As I’ve stated in my previous post, when combining these uber-feminine details I think it’s important to find a balance to the look. Especially #petiteladies should consider this when dressing more on the girly side – unless you want to be asked for your ID the next time you order a glass of wine (which happened to me last week in London, oh well). In this look, I’ve practised what I’ve been preaching by combining my cute ruffles & bows with an oversized dress and beautiful over the knee boots. They really elevate the outfit, don’t they? Just the slightest hint of skin is visible between the dress and the boots, which creates a nice contrast to the girly vibe of the outfit. But let’s forget all the rules: Honestly, I love girly details to bits, and I can’t get enough of them!
