With the beginning of the new month, I’m happy to present this new edition of the Blog Your Style series. Again the ten of us have brainstormed to bring you the most beautiful, most fitting subject in ten different editorial variations. And with this month’s topic I can’t help but get in the mood for a vacation.

French Riviera

In my early teens, I have lost my heart to the French Riviera, or Côte d’Azur: Cannes, Antibes, Monte Carlo and Nice are just some of the places I’ve fallen in love with. A city that fascinates me especially is Grasse: The center of the french perfume industry.

Thanks to the perfect weather conditions, the area around Grasse is blooming with endless flower fields. Not only does this make for a stunningly beautiful landscape; The tradition of the art of perfumery in Grasse traces back to the 18th century. Imagine this: Endless fields of Jasmin, rose, orange blossom and tuberose, an optical and olfactory paradise! To this day, Grasse is the educational institution for the most important noses of the big designer houses. I can’t wait for my next trip to Grasse.

Ein neuer Monat bricht an, und das bedeutet hier auf Dolce Petite, dass ich euch einen neuen Beitrag aus der Blog Your Style-Reihe präsentieren darf. Auch diesmal haben wir zehn Mädels Brainstorming betrieben um euch das schönste, passendste Thema in, sage und schreibe, zehn Interpretationen zu zeigen. Und beim aktuellen Thema kann ich nicht anders: Ich komme in Urlaubsstimmung.

French Riviera

An die französische Riviera, oder Côte d’Azur, habe ich schon früh mein Herz verloren: Cannes, Antibes, Monte Carlo und Nice sind nur einige der Städte, die absolut bezaubernd sind. Besonders interessant ist jedoch Grasse: Die Stadt ist das Zentrum der französischen Parfumindustrie.

Dank der perfekten Wetterbedingungen in der Landschaft rund um Grasse blühen hier Unmengen von Blumenfeldern. Nicht nur ist somit die Kulisse wunderschön; die Tradition der Parfumeurskunst in Grasse geht auf das 18. Jahrhundert zurück. Stellt euch das vor: Felder und Felder voll von Jasmin, Rosen, Orangenblüten und Tuberose, ein optisches und olfaktorisches Paradies! Noch heute ist Grasse die Ausbildungsstätte für die wichtigsten Nasen der großen Designer. Ich freue mich schon unheimlich auf meine nächste Reise nach Grasse.
