A Walk through Vienna

Lights of Vienna Décor: Schmuckstücke aus Österreich

Dritte Station: Schloss Belvedere

    She walks in beauty, like the night
    Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
    And all that’s best of dark and bright
    Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
    Thus mellowed to that tender light
    Which heaven to gaudy day denies…

A Walk through Vienna

A walk through Vienna

Anyone who has ever wandered through the beautiful city center of Vienna knows: This city has a lot to offer. Especially early in the day, when Vienna is veiled in the beautifully soft light of the morning sun; There is this particular glow that surrounds the city. Let me take you on a walking tour that is one of a kind: Inspired by pieces of jewelry I am showing you my favorite spots of Vienna.

Lights of Vienna Décor: Jewelry made in Austria

You know me: Always on the lookout for the most outstanding pieces of jewelry, and so I spotted something on Instagram that immediately caught my eye: I fell head over heels in love with the pieces from Lights of Vienna. The way the name has a beautiful ring to it, the inherently consistent brand concept, the reference to Vienna and the quality of the pieces are very unique.

Apart from the exceptional designs, there pieces are also very functional: They feel light as air on your skin.

I am beyond excited to show you a look with my three star pieces of the collection.

First stop: Kohlmarkt

1010 Vienna, Latitude : 48.208946 | Longitude : 16.36788

My stroll through Vienna starts in the heart of the city: I leave the public transportation at Stephansplatz, I walk across the Graben, casting a sneaky little glance at the perfectly decorated windows of Chanel, and then I change my direction to Michaelerplatz. The way there is paved with the most long-standing names of the fashion industry – there is always something new to discover.

Second Stop: Schwarzenbergplatz

1010, 1030 und 1040 Wien, Latitude : 48.19931 | Longitude : 16.375699

During my studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts of Vienna, I crossed Schwarzenbergplatz several times a day. The various institutes are scattered across the first and third district, and even when I had to rush to my next class, I always tried to take in the beauty of these routes. Next time you find yourselves there: Take a few minutes to unwind at the fountain. Watch the dance of the water, and count the myriads of colors the water reflects the sunlight in so beautifully. I promise: You will feel refreshed and relaxed..

Third Stop: Belvedere Palace

1030 Wien, Latitude : 48.191934 | Longitude : 16.379109

We have made our way through the beautiful Belvedere Gardens to the Belvedere Palace. In the past I have spent numerous lunch breaks here, sat on the steps of the Palace and enjoyed the view. I kind of felt like Blair Waldorf on the steps of the Met. To this day I still spend a lot of time there: I love the building so much that I shoot many of my looks there.
